The goal
You shall be able to understand and apply the content of the publication EBR ESA Waterways in order to plan and work in, or in connection with, waterways as well as facility components within hydropower plants. You shall also be able to apply the theoretical knowledge from the ESA Waterways content in practical day-to-day work.
The target group
This training is intended for those who are to plan, supervise, or carry out work in or near waterways, as well as components of hydropower facilities.
The topics covered
Upon completion of the training, the participant shall, among other things, have an understanding of
- the responsibilities and obligations of the owner, the employer, and the person carrying out the work under occupational health and safety and electrical safety legislation
- which organization and functions that are required for electrical safety
- be able to apply risk management
- what a electrical maintenance operation is and when it converts to a planned task performed according to one of the work methods
- the different work methods and its limits
- Certificate issued after training: EBR ESA Waterways
