Goal

After completing the course, you will understand the importance of performing a pre-commissioning inspection on a low-voltage installation. You will know which inspections and tests must be carried out on common electrical installations. Additionally, you will be able to assess measured values and understand how to document them properly.

Overview of Key Points in Electrical Installation Regulations and Provisions This course covers essential aspects of electrical installation regulations and requirements to ensure a safe electrical installation, along with the evaluation of test results from inspections.

Short Instructional Videos Demonstrate:

  • Visual inspection of your electrical installation
  • Testing the continuity of protective conductors
  • Testing the insulation resistance of the electrical installation
  • Testing fault loop impedance and disconnection times
  • Testing the functionality of residual current devices (RCDs)
  • Documenting the results of the inspection

Prerequisites

This training should be viewed either as an introductory course to our instructor-led training or as a refresher course for previously acquired knowledge.
