Note! This online course, based on SS-EN 50110-1 and the Electrical Safety Instructions, is developed by Trainor and tailored for those who have previously attended an instructor-led course. Goal
After completing the course, participants should understand how to plan work in accordance with the Electrical Safety Instructions, apply different working methods, and understand the organisational structure required to prevent electrical accidents and operational disruptions.
Target group
This is a refresher course for qualified electricians who have already completed the classroom-based training and whose certificate is about to expire.
The course covers these topics
According to the Swedish Work Environment Act and the regulations from the Swedish National Electrical Safety Board, everyone working where there is an electrical hazard must have training and knowledge about the risks and the safety measures relevant to their tasks.
The Electrical Safety Instructions regulate, among other things, the cooperation between grid owners and contractors and help create a common standard to make work on different electrical installations safer and more efficient.
The instructions are adapted to the latest edition of SS-EN 50110-1, Operation of Electrical Installations.
Electrical Safety for Qualified Personnel – Refresher (E-learning) is a stand-alone course based on the content of the Electrical Safety Instructions and covers:
- Electrical hazards
- Responsibilities and organisation
- Operational measures
- Working methods
The course concludes with a final test.
Prerequisites
Participants are expected to have relevant basic training and to have previously completed a classroom-based course.
