Subjects covered in the course

Electrical safety at work gives you knowledge in the operation of electrical installations (European standard SS-EN 50110-1). By knowing which electrical hazards you may be exposed to, you can better plan your work so that it is safe and secure. The purpose of the course is for the participant to understand and be able to apply the regulations for work on a commissioned facility. This includes being able to establish work routines, perform risk analysis, choose work methods and understand the facility owner's maintenance responsibilities. Your knowledge of the work regulations must be continuously updated in line with developments. The course is based on SS-EN 50110-1 Operation of electrical installations and the manual Work at risk of electrical hazards, which is published by the Swedish Work Environment Authority and the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority.
