- Energy and electricity have never been more hotly debated than they are now, so the idea of following this industry felt very interesting. “When we began exploring the various professional roles within the industry, and the areas and people we could follow in the series through our partners, it felt like a natural fit to us,” says Johan Andersson from the production company Delta Studios.
By following employees from Vattenfall and Skellefteå Kraft at various work sites—from hydroelectric power plants to wind turbines and high-voltage power lines—viewers gain insight into the work involved in supplying the country with electricity—every day, year-round.
“It takes an incredible amount of work, and the jobs in this industry are fun, exciting, and varied. Plus, the series helps the public better understand what different professional groups actually do during their workdays,” says Johan.
The Right Training Increases Safety
But working in these high-risk environments requires training and knowledge of electrical safety—even for the production teams. Through Trainor’s e-learning courses, they were equipped with the necessary knowledge to work safely.
