Studying to become an electrician has given 35-year-old Maydan from Uppsala a chance at a new career. He moved to Sweden from the U.S. four years ago, and after completing his SFI studies, it was time to find a vocational training program. He chose Trainor’s distance learning program to become an installation electrician.

“I really enjoyed the program. The most rewarding part for me was the opportunity to study at my own pace and to be able to review the practical components I found difficult. Studying from home and traveling to Sundsvall for the lab sessions wasn’t a problem at all—it was just educational and fun,” says Maydan.
