The passing score for the exam is 70%. The maximum exam duration is 2 hours. The exam is supervised by a proctor.
Permitted materials: Laws, regulations, and directives, as well as course literature without exercises. All electronic devices must be turned off and handed in during the certification exam.
Results will be sent via email within 10 business days after the certification exam. Once you have received a passing score, you can apply for certification with the certification body RISE.

A passing result on the exam allows you to apply for certification with the certification body RISE.

We offer four certification exams, each with a duration of 2 hours:
- Bas-Basic: For those seeking certification as Bas-P or Bas-U.
- Bas-P: For those seeking certification as Bas-P.
- Bas-U: For those seeking certification as Bas-U.
- Bas-Recertification: For those renewing their certificate after 5 years.
If this is your first certification, you need to book two exams. It is possible to take both exams on the same day. Those renewing their certification only need to take one exam.
Prerequisites
There are no requirements for completing a course before taking the certification exam. You also have the option to take the exam in connection with an instructor-led course at Trainor.
If you have special needs that Trainor should consider during the certification exam, you must inform us about these needs. Documentation supporting your request must be provided along with your application.
