Goal
After completing the courses, you will have the knowledge required to perform your duties in your role as Client, Bas-P, Bas-U, or Designer.
You will have a clear understanding of the responsibilities associated with the role. You will know how to develop a work environment plan and have the tools to apply risk analyses in the workplace.
Target group
For those who are coordination managers, construction work environment coordinators, clients, managers, supervisors, safety engineers, installers, designers, technicians, union representatives, or safety representatives.
Subjects covered in the course
In this two-day course, there is an increased focus on work environment plans and risk analysis. The first day covers the theoretical foundations of construction work environment responsibility, while the second day has a more practical approach with exercises and discussions. You will practice developing a work environment plan and learn how to assess risks during both the planning and execution phases of a project.

- The Work Environment Act, Work Environment Ordinance, and applicable regulations (updated to follow the new regulatory structure)
- Bas-P, Bas-U, and client responsibilities and tasks
- Systematic Work Environment Management (SAM)
- Work Environment Plan
- Risk Analyses
- Safety organization and safety inspections
- Coordination and follow-up
- Application and in-depth knowledge through discussions and exercises
- Knowledge test
Regulations
On January 1, 2025, the regulations for clients, designers, and construction work environment coordinators will change. This course is updated and follows the new regulatory structure. We also review the differences between the current and the new regulations.
