Goal

Target group

This course is intended for everyone who will perform non-electrical work in, or in the vicinity of, an electrical installation with or without electrical hazards. That is, everyone who in their work need to have the necessary knowledge and awareness of the electrical danger and the risks involved.

Subjects covered in the course

The electrical safety provisions also provide for a common language use and thereby help to prevent fatal mistakes. Electrical safety instructions (ESA) cover the operational measures as well as the working procedures for safety work on or in the vicinity of elctrical installations. By complying with ESA, the employer meets the requirements contained in the Work Environment Act to take the measures needed to avoid ill health and accidents. ESA is a clarification and complement to the standard of SS-EN 50110-1. The course targets are to give the required knowledge to be able to work according to the electrical safety provisions, to provide an understanding of the working methods and be able to apply them correctly. The overall target is to prevent accidents.
