A good work environment begins with an understanding of the fundamentals. This digital course provides a clear introduction to work environment management, covering legislation, roles, and collaboration. You will gain practical examples and tools to identify risks, prevent ill health, and work sustainably using the Systematic Work Environment Management (SAM) and Organizational and Social Work Environment (OSA) frameworks.
The goal
After the course, you will have fundamental knowledge of the work environment. You will be familiar with the laws and regulations concerning the work environment, understand your role in work environment management, and grasp how different roles interact to promote health in the workplace.
The target group
Managers, supervisors, work environment representatives, safety representatives, work environment coordinators, and anyone interested in the work environment.
The topics covered
The course is based on texts, images, and interviews with our work environment experts, as well as knowledge assessments. Course content:
- Laws and regulations – The Work Environment Act, the Work Environment Ordinance, and the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s provisions, as well as the roles, obligations, and responsibilities of employers and employees.
- OSA (Organizational and Social Work Environment) – Preventing and managing unhealthy workloads and offensive treatment. How to promote a healthy work environment, including practical tools for assessing workload.
- SAM (Systematic Work Environment Management) – How effective systematic work environment management leads to increased well-being, creativity, and productivity. Risk assessment, action plans, and investigation methodology.
