This course is based on SS-EN 50110-1 and the Electrical Safety Instructions. The course is developed by Trainor, which is a privately owned independent company that has worked with education for 20 years. We train 20% of Sweden's all new electricians every year. Trainor develops web courses in electricity, technology and safety. Trainor's self-developed web course is suitable for you who have previously completed a teacher-led course. Note! Some clients may require that you have completed a teacher-led training, check with the client what applies to you. The online course is not approved by Energiföretagen and does not provide a certificate issued by Energiföretagen.
The course targets are to give the required knowledge to be able to plan and execute work such as switches and other operating orders, and be able to apply the Waterways provisions correctly. The overall target is to prevent accidents.
For those who do maintenance work, for those who do work activities in hydropower stations and power distribution installations. For example workers for clean up, instruments, construction who work in control rooms in electrical installations and hydropower plants.
In order to ensure electrical safety at work Sweden has a very clear framework of laws and provisions. The Electrical Safety provisions (”Elsäkerhetsanvisningar” in Swedish) are supplemental to the law. Waterways is a specific provision by the Swedish hydropower industry focussing on work safety in connection with waterways.
This course is primarily suited for instructed persons.
