It is also crucial to select the right equipment and safe working methods. The ATEX User Directive for working in explosive environments has been mandatory since July 1, 2006.

The course provides solid knowledge of the safety requirements for hazardous areas with explosive atmospheres. We cover applicable regulations and directives and how to meet these requirements by following standards and guidelines.
We explain the meaning of the regulations regarding "Equipment for explosive atmospheres," in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, how zone classification is performed, and what an Explosion Protection Document must include. The course also reviews applicable regulations, directives, and how to comply with them by using standards and handbooks.
