Goal

The training aims to equip you to plan effective internal audit programs. You will also learn to conduct internal work environment audits that meet the requirements of ISO 45001 and AFS 2023:1. Additionally, you will be able to participate in an audit team conducting integrated and improvement-focused audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Target group

Internal work environment auditors, quality and environmental auditors who need to learn about work environment audits, QHSE coordinators, audit coordinators, and management system managers. Work environment managers, coordinators, and engineers, as well as managers and safety representatives.

Subjects covered in the course

The training aims to highlight and promote work environment auditing as a strategic activity to achieve real improvements. With the auditor’s perspective, we review the audit methodology based on ISO 19011:2018.

  • Different types of audits – first, second, and third-party audits
  • How to succeed as an internal auditor – skills and personal qualities
  • The seven ethical principles of auditing
  • Overview – requirements in ISO 45001:2018 and AFS 2023:1
  • Key work environment requirements to audit
  • Building an effective audit program
  • Audit methodology based on ISO 19011:2018

Regulations

The ISO standard ISO 45001:2018 (Requirements for occupational health and safety management systems), Systematic Work Environment Management - AFS 2023:1, and the ISO standard ISO 19011:2018 (Guidelines for auditing management systems).

Competence

It is an advantage to have basic knowledge of systematic work environment, environmental, or quality management, as well as AFS 2023:1.
