What is the Kompetensfabriken?

The Kompetensfabriken concept gives you the opportunity to secure employment as an electrician before you have completed your education. By entering into an agreement, you only pay for half of the programme. The remaining half is funded by a staffing company as an investment in your future, as you begin your career as a contract electrician.

Please note that students enrolled through Kompetensfabriken are not eligible for CSN funding, as part of the programme cost is covered by a staffing company.0

Here's how it works

You apply to join the program and are contacted by the staffing company. Once the agreement and your individual study plan are in place, you begin your education with Trainor. You start by completing the first 1,000 credits, followed by a two-week internship with a selected company. After the internship, you are offered employment while completing the remaining 500 credits over six months.

You then continue working for another six months. At the end of this period, you will have completed your training and qualified as an electrician. After graduation, you may continue your career either with the staffing company or with the company where you completed your employment, depending on your agreement.
