As an electrician, you can work in various specialized fields and almost anywhere - while contributing to a well-functioning society.
With Trainor, you’ll study remotely, and the mandatory lab sessions will be held in your home municipality or at our facilities in Sundsvall or Solna. Apply through your municipality’s adult education program for the opportunity to have your tuition covered. Find a course start date near you!
Electricians constitute a broad professional category, and even experienced electricians can continue their education, broaden their knowledge, and gain certification in various specializations, such as automation, distribution, or installation. All of our individual courses can also be taken independently by those seeking professional development.
We combine theoretical and practical components in our programs so that you’ll be well-prepared when you enter the workforce. Our programs also include on-the-job training (APL). This means you’ll get to apply what you’ve learned in school in a real-world setting and get a taste of your future professional role.
Apply through your home municipality’s adult education program.
Click on your municipality to see what applies to you. Is your municipality not on the list? Contact the adult education department in your municipality; they may be able to purchase the program using a so-called IKE form. You can also train to become an electrician with us as a private individual or as an employee of a company. We accept applicants from all over Sweden.
