Study at your own pace. The course is estimated to take approximately 3 months if you dedicate two evenings per week to your studies.
You have two years to complete the course, with the option to extend by one additional year for a fee.
The program is delivered according to a flexible learning concept. This means that, as a participant, you mainly communicate with our instructors via our learning portal, by phone, email, and similar channels.
Theoretical exams are completed on your computer after approved assignments.

After completing the course, you meet the theoretical requirements set by the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority (Elsäkerhetsverket) to apply for Limited Authorisation (B).
Upon passing all module exams and the final exam, you will receive a course certificate to use in your application. Authorisation is applied for directly with Elsäkerhetsverket and also requires two years of relevant practical experience under the supervision of a licensed electrical installer.
The course is intended for property maintenance technicians, domestic appliance installers, mechanics, maintenance personnel, repair technicians, and those who work with electrical systems but do not hold any authorisation.
The course provides you with the skills needed to carry out the electrical installations covered by the authorisation, based on drawings and schematics, and to comply with applicable safety regulations. The course also covers the rules, laws, and regulations governing electrical installations, electrical equipment, consumer products, cables, and conducted interference. In addition, you will gain knowledge in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment, as well as the environmental requirements related to electrical work covered by Limited Authorization B.
The training focuses on Practical Electrical Theory and Electrical Power Engineering. An obligatory practical training day is also included.
All course modules include videos, for example covering all mathematics, showing step by step how to solve different types of tasks. After each completed theoretical module, you take the exams at your own pace at home on your own computer. You decide when it suits you best.
