You also have the option to apply for student loans and grants from CSN. The application process may vary depending on whether your municipality has an agreement with us.

If your home municipality pays for your education, you only pay for your course literature, travel and accommodation yourself. You also have the opportunity to apply for study grants at CSN. Depending on whether your home municipality has an agreement with us or not, you apply for the education in different ways.

Dalarna (Falun *, Leksand, Vansbro, Rättvik)
Gotland
Gävleborg (Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, Ljusdal **, Ovanåker, Nordanstig, Söderhamn)
Norrbotten (Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, Pajala)
Södermanland (Eskilstuna *, Flen, Gnesta, Katrineholm *, Nyköping, Oxelösund, Strängnäs)
Västernorrland (Kramfors, Sollefteå, Örnsköldsvik)

If the municipality does not have a web application, use the school application.
Always enclose your high school diplomas and a personal letter in which you describe why you want to attend the education.
If you reside in a municipality that does not have an agreement with us, send the application form along with the IKE form to your local municipality for approval. The IKE form is on page two of the application.
