An installation electrician has an exciting job. On new buildings, you lay out pipes that are cast into the concrete structure, install power stations where the electricity is to be received and set up cable ladders and pull cables.
Later during the construction period, you pull wires in the pipes, set up switches and wall sockets and install lighting. An installation electrician also draws power to fans, heating systems and lighting and connects refrigerators and stoves.
If you are working on reconstruction, removing old wiring is also included, to help you in the work you have drawings and schedules.
If you have previously studied any/some subjects from the electrical program, you should contact ECY for a free validation of your grades so that you meet the industry requirements for obtaining the Electrician certificate after completing the apprenticeship.
